The fireball came in from the south and traversed the whole western sky near the zenith until it disappeared in the north.<br /><br />One of the really neat things was that it was just after sunset and there was a storm on the western horizon, so it was very dark out, but the 'smoke' trails of the meteor and fragments were up in the sunlight glowing very bright.
