"Police say security cameras showed a man trying to steal security cameras Sunday.
Surveillance
footage also shows Joshua M. Pemble, 23, parked in a handicapped
parking space while he was committing the theft, Joliet Police Capt. Tab
Jensen said.
At 3:56 p.m. security employees called
police to Walmart, 1401 Route 59, after watching Pemble put a security
camera system into his cart, walk to another department and remove the
electronic sensor tags, Jensen said.
“Pemble walked past
the last point of purchase and exited the store. When security attempted
to stop him, he left the cart and took off running,” Jensen said."
