Attempting to pry the kitty out of the boa's tight grip, the man tries
to unwrap the snake's coiled body from around the feline. He is
eventually able to pull open the snake's mouth, which had fastened onto
the kitty's back leg.
After the boa's head is pulled away, the
rest of its body goes limp, allowing the cat to escape. The kitty
appears to walk away relatively unscathed in the video. Gonzalez
subsequently added that the lucky cat, seen later that day, appeared to
be okay, Storyful reports.

Pit Bull Puppy Chewed Off Diabetic Owners Toes
Brown, 46, awoke just before dawn Wednesday to a bloody left foot and two missing toes, and discovered his pit bull puppy had been gnawing at his foot.
According to Brown, his dog Bo was able to chew off entirely his left small pinky toe, as well as the big toe on the same foot. The dog also managed to eat a sizable chunk of the man’s actual foot without waking him.
Brown, who’s disabled and diabetic, admitted it was his own fault. He explained that he usually treats and tightly wraps open wounds and blisters on his feet, but failed in his regimen on this particular night.
Brown said that Bo was likely enticed by the exposed wound that Brown said is a result of his diabetes.
The pup was isolated after the incident by order of city police and was under observation for any sign of rabies.
Brown also said that he's confident in his decision not to euthanize Bo, but to continue raising and caring for his pet.

The call was placed by a neighborhood woman who was concerned about the family of cats.
The mother, assuming Accorti was going to capture the animals and that would possibly face humane euthanasia at the shelters, took her children back into her home.
Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Director Theresa Landon, who took the woman’s complaint, explains what happened next:
“[Accorti] went to his truck and got his gun, which she thought was a tranquilizer gun, and walked around to the back of the house and approximately 15 feet from her back door shot and killed the eight to 10-week-old kittens.”
Tuesday North Ridgeville Police Chief Mike Freeman cleared Human Officer Barry Accorti in any wrongdoing. However, several local animal welfare advocacy groups have become strongly concerned over the incident and are demanding the city fire Accorti for actions they describe as careless and cruel.

Window Washers Scaffold Breaks 44 Storeys Up Building
Two New York window washers were rescued from a broken scaffold that
dangled 600-feet above Manhattan. Richard Schmidt and Victor Caballo
were working around the 44th floor when the scaffold that supported them
buckled and folded in the middle. Rescue workers arrived and secured
them from the roof, then a 4-foot by 4-foot second of glass was cut away
so they could escape. The rescue lasted 90 minutes, during which the
men remained calm. The scaffold system was reported to have cost $3
million and is considered the most complex in New York, according to
reports.
Teacher Makes Students Write Suicide Note
Parents are outraged after learning their children as young as 14 were required to write a suicide note from a first-person perspective in English class.
The homework at York Prep in the Upper West Side required students to write goodbye notes from the perspective of a character who kills herself in the best-selling book, “The Secret Life of Bees,” the New York Post exclusively reported.
The assignment also asked the students to explain why they chose to commit suicide.

The advert on the classifieds website explains that the unnamed seller has chosen to retire in Brighton after leading a ‘long and interesting life’, some of which was spent just off the coast of Alaska with a walrus called Gregory.
The seller goes on to say that he has constructed a ‘realistic walrus costume’, which should fit ‘people of average proportions’ – because he has never had a friendship that matched up to Gregory.
The average price of a house in Brighton might be above £200,000, however in order to live for free any prospective lodger must be prepared to fully embrace the role of a walrus.
‘Whilst in the costume you must be a walrus – there must be no speaking in a human voice, and any communication must entail making utterances in the voice of a walrus,’ the advert states.
The seller advises that recordings of what a walrus sounds like can be found online (see below).
The lodger will also have to ‘catch and eat the fish and crabs that I will occasionally throw to you whilst you are being the walrus’ in order to qualify for a ‘spacious double room and complete run of the house’.

Police pulled Rasphoumy later that morning in the Walmart marking lot near Robinson Ave and Butterfield Coach Road. Rasphoumy got out of the van but then police said he became "uncooperative" heading back to the vehicle to grab an "object similar to a flute which he raised over his head.
According to reports, then he laid in the driver's seat, putting his legs up like he was going to "kick at the officers."
That's when Rasphoumy pulled what police say appeared to be a handgun and pointed it toward the officers.. The officers took cover, firing a reported seven shots, each hitting the van.
The SWAT team was called to the scene along with crisis negotiators who talked Rasphoumy into surrendering.
The gun Rasphoumy used turned out to be a toy resembling a snub nose revolver. Also located in the van were 3 parakeets, 3 chickens and 2 ducks."
The Walmart Neighborhood Market manager moved all customers and associates to the back of the building. No injuries were reported.

Woman Humped To Death By Pet Camel
Husband Noel, who gave her the camel as a 60th birthday present in March, returned home to discover his wife’s body on Saturday.
Mrs Weaver, who has a daughter, was in the middle of cooking dinner and there was a cup of tea on the table.
The camel was wandering loose in the back yard.
The animal had a history of erratic behaviour, often trying to straddle other species including the family’s pet goat.
Det Craig Gregory said: ‘I would say it had probably been playing or it may even be a sexual sort of thing.

Man Rapes Woman "To Save Her Life"
He said he then lay down next to her, hugged her, and attempted intercourse to try to get her temperature up because she had been outside.
Kelly claimed he inserted his penis inside the unconscious 29-year-old on May 19 because "he was trying to save her life," according to court documents.
"He said he did place it inside of her to try and get her temperature up," police wrote in a probable cause statement filed in 5th District Court.
