Green Bay Police removed an unattended 10-week-old boy from a locked car Friday and arrested his mother.
Officers
answered a call to Walmart on West Mason Street, where the boy was
found in the car. The windows were up and the doors locked in 98-degree
temperatures. The boy was not moving and was feared not breathing,
police said.
An
officer broke a window and removed the infant, who was taken by
ambulance to an area hospital, and later released to a family member.
The child’s 24-year-old mother was jailed after questioning and faces child neglect charges, police said.
