A Tennessee law enforcement officer is facing child pornography
charges after investigators discovered the man was using the computer in
his police cruiser to search for lewd pictures of young girls.
According to a criminal complaint filed yesterday in U. S. District Court, a Greeneville Police Department officer
discovered that the search history of the web browser for the computer
in the patrol car he was assigned had been used to search for illicit
images.
A forensic review of the computer hard drive turned up “image
searches utilizing key words ‘fifth grade girls,’ ‘naked middle school
girls,’ ‘young puffy nipples,’ and ‘hot high school girls naked’”
revealing “thousands of pornographic images” on the computer’s hard
drive and--of those--“eighty images of child pornography.”
