The Giant Rubber Ducky Deflated Again, This Time The Victim Of An Earthquake

Another death of Ducky

A giant yellow duck art installation fell victim to a 6.3 factor earthquake in Taiwan on Thursday.

The 18m creation, designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, began to deflate after its air pump malfunctioned in a power cut.

Some onlookers were reportedly so upset by the incident they asked for a ten-second silence to honour the much-loved duck.

Officials will be confident of re-inflating the duck having done so already when it was stationed in Hong Kong.

Here are the past giant rubber ducky stories I've posted if you are curious. :)
